SORRY: Sorry I have not posted in awhile. No I have not been hiding because I said the Cubs were not that good then they go out and win 2 of 3 from Houston, San Francisco, and Arizona. I am glad the Cubs have been winning, but I still stand by what I said.

TUESDAY'S GAME AT SAN DIEGO: Mark Prior came off the DL and pitched an outstanding game for the Cubs against the Padres. The Cubs led 1-0 going into the ninth when they got a two-run home run by Aramis Ramirez to take a 3-0 lead. In the bottom of the ninth the Padres loaded the bases thanks to errors by Ramirez and Hee Seop Choi but Joe Borowski got a double play to get the save and a Cubs victory.

LEON DURHAM AWARD: Introducing the Leon Durham Award for bad defense by a Cubs first baseman. Ok, it is not exactly fair but when you think of Leon you think of the ground ball he let roll through his legs in Game 5 of the 1984 NLCS. The Leon Durham Award for bad defense by a Cubs first baseman to Hee Seop Choi. Choi made two errors last night. The first was a ball through his legs. The second error was a ground ball to first which came up and he booted it away.
