SATURDAY'S GAME AT ARIZONA: SCOTTSDALE -- Another outstanding performance by Matt Clement who threw 125 pitches for a 4-0 complete game shutout of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Sammy Sosa has struggled of late while battling a sore toe, back spasms, and headaches.

FRIDAY'S GAME AT ARIZONA: SCOTTSDALE -- Kerry Wood pitched very well except for three or four pitches. The Diamondbacks only got three hits but that was all the Diamondbacks needed to get a 3-2 win. Todd Hundley played good again. Amazing.

ARIZONA TRIP: SCOTTSDALE -- I have hit the road for another Cubs road trip. Back in June I went to Seattle for the weekend series with the Mariners. I am here in Scottsdale for the three game series against the Diamondbacks. Since I am attending the games at Bank One Ballpark I will not be able to report and comment if, I mean when, Chip Caray and Joe Carter make an inane statement.
