CHIPMUNK: Chip informed us last night that, "Andres Galarraga really took off in St. Louis. In 1992, Galarraga's one year with the St. Louis Cardinals, Andres Galarraga had a .243 BA, .282 OBP, a .673 OPS, 10 HR, and 39 RBI. The next year with the Colorado Rockies, Galarraga won the batting title by hitting .370.

BAYLOR MANAGING: Why was right handed Chris Stynes the starting third baseman on Tuesday night against the right handed Yoshii when the Cubs had the switch hitting Mark Bellhorn on the bench? Especially when coming into the game Bellhorn was 7 for his last 18 at bats.

TUESDAY NIGHT'S GAME: Cubs lose 8-4 to the Montreal Expos. Juan Cruz continues to struggle at times. Chris Stynes was awful. Delino DeShields needs to pay attention on the basepaths.

THE CHIPSTER: Chip informed us before he gave the Cubs line-up that the Cubs had "a lot of former Expos in the line-up tonight." The Cubs had a grand total of two former Montreal Expos in the starting line-up. Delino Deshields and Moises Alou. That is not a lot Chip.

MONDAY NIGHT'S GAME: Cubs win 6-4 over Montreal. Sammy Sosa and Fred McGriff with back to back home runs. Antonio Alfonseca with his first career hit and two RBI.
